Design studio Descent s.r.o. was founded in 2002 by product designer Jiří Španihel. Who he has had rich experience in product design since finished his studies.
The company is mainly focused on product design, prospective studies, conceptual designs and ergonomic studies. We also offer production of models in real scale and color and graphic solutions. We cooperate on product development with a number of companies both in the Czech Republic and abroad and we support their development with the creative design projects. Our team of professional designers uses specialized software which increase efficiency and design creation possibilities. All our software tools enable fast communication with the construction workplaces. By using modern technologies our projects are developed in high quality and the the subsequent visualisations are very realistic.
Thanks to the years of experience, our product designs are highly timeless and thus they ensure their long lasting applicability. Throughout our existence in the market, we have organized several exhibitions both in the Czech Republic and abroad, where we presented our best design projects and concepts. We place great accent to the efficiency and quality of our solutions. In addition to the rational innovations, our design also includes an emotional experience, which makes the final product the object of desire and pleasure. The strength of this experience reflects the uniqueness of the designer and his artistic talent.
We do not consider design as only a synonym for shape or appearance, but we also perceive it as a creative process. The resulting of this is a product which is not only ready for repeated production, but it is also enriched by new features and aesthetic qualities.
In his designs Jiří Španihel emphasizes functionality of the products and technological innovation. The timelessness of the designs increases the longevity of the products and their ecological sustainability. His artistic vision is firmly rooted in his background as a sculptor. His designs showcase significant spatial economy and high aesthetic value, while maintaining their user-friendly appeal.
